Independence Tips ( might want to take notes ๐๐ )
Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening wherever you are in this beautiful W๐RLD!
Thank you for clicking on this blog post Bellers! If this is your first time on my blog here is a little intro for you:
Hi! My name is Belle, I aspire to be a Lyfe Blogger. What I want people to take from my blog is the impact of good things to do in LYFE! I want to help make the world a better place, starting with you! If you feel like emailing me for advice or questions for FRIBELLE, my email is right here.
Now, let's get back to the real blog post!
Everyone wants some independence nowadays! But, you should take some baby steps. You should know that independence isn't all that easy. Yes, you may see some T.V shows with characters going anywhere, having their own privacy, and being allowed to do anything they want! You may also see your friends doing the exact same thing too!
But, have you ever wondered how hard it is to have independence? Yeah, you get to do what you please, but do you know what else you have to do? Better be ready to make your own breakfast ( maybe for your whole family ), wash the dishes, mow the lawn, take care of the garden, make sure the pool is clean etc.! You want independence you are going to have to do all those things and more for your parents to allow the streak of the dependency rule!
So here are my top 3 tips for you:

So here are my top 3 tips for you:
Respect
If you are just starting out respecting your parent's decision is the best to do on this road. If your parents say yes, it might not mean yes. They might mean yes to some things. no to others. For example, they can say yes you will be allowed to use your phone after school from 4:30 - 10:05; or they can say, no, you are not allowed to go to the mall with your friends when no guardian is there.
Whatever they say, don't blow up! They are your parents! There is a reason why God gave them a child, to take care of you! Your mom was waiting for you for nine whole months! I really do not think she is going to have anything harm her angel!
Just be glad they are even giving you some responsibility. Want more? R-E-S-P-E-C-T!
Why?
You need to have a good reason to want independence! If you say but Joan's mom said she can do whatever she wants whenever she wants! No! This will make your parents think that you are just a plain old copy-cat ( where I am from we call it follow-follow ) who just wants to go with the trend. And being honest, your reason for independence should not be your friends!
It should be I would like some independence so I can learn early on how to do my chores, and if, God forbid, Mom and Dad are not around I can take care of myself easily knowing I am not always dependent. If you say something like that, you are bound to get some independence and trust from your beloved parents.
If the reason is for friends, and not anything else that will benefit your well being, then don't say something you do not mean ( like what I said above ) to get your parents to cave in. Actually, tell the truth Bellers, liars never get their way even if it seems like it!
DO IT!
Your parents allowed you to have some freedom! Woohoo, scream for joy! You plan to have a hang out at the mall right now with your soulsies ( soulsies = soul sisters ), then you're handed a mop, dishrag, and a bucket of water!
Are you confused? You wanted independence, right? Well, there you have it!
There are two sides of independence: 1.) Freedom 2.) RESPONSIBILITY ! Which side of independence do you think your parents want the most? Yeah, I thought so ๐
You need to be responsible! Your mom asks you to wash the dishes? DO IT! Cook dinner? DO IT!
Responsibility is basically part of respect! Respect for your parents, your house, and yourself! Show yourself some respect! Show your parents you are ready for any shenanigan Lyfe throws at you! do it :)
This blog post was so much fun to write! I loved it so much and learned from it too! I hope you learned something from it too!
