Hey Bellers! I am back to another wonderful fall post! In this post, I was just going to give some ideas for Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I will give some history, what you should do, and you should just sit back and relax while reading this post.

Thanks Giving

I always look forward to this! Every single year we invite our cousins and uncles and aunties and have a feast! We eat burgers, rice, turkey ( obviously ), and more! What you should probably do on this day is probably have a Friendsgiving! If you don't want a fancy thanksgiving Friendsgiving is the right way to go! You give presents to your closest friends, have a small hangout, say what you are thankful for, and what you like about all your friends! 

Here is some History on this special day!: "In November 1621, after the Pilgrims’ first corn harvest proved successful, Governor William Bradford organized a celebratory feast and invited a group of the fledgling colony’s Native American allies, including the Wampanoag chief Massasoit. Now remembered as American’s “first Thanksgiving”—although the Pilgrims themselves may not have used the term at the time—the festival lasted for three days. While no record exists of the historic banquet’s exact menu, the Pilgrim chronicler Edward Winslow wrote in his journal that Governor Bradford sent four men on a “fowling” mission in preparation for the event and that the Wampanoag guests arrived bearing five deer. Historians have suggested that many of the dishes were likely prepared using traditional Native American spices and cooking methods. Because the Pilgrims had no oven and the Mayflower’s sugar supply had dwindled by the fall of 1621, the meal did not feature pies, cakes or other desserts, which have become a hallmark of contemporary celebrations. "

Black Friday

I love shopping, but this kind of shopping is probably the most dangerous shopping trip you may ever take. Some people get injured just because of shopping. WHich is why you have to come super duper early! if you come late, then you are not going to get those black glitter wedges you have been window shopping for. Wake up by 4:00 ( Sleep by 9 if you want to do this ), get to the mall by 6 am and start shopping! By this time rush hour begins but since you used your time wisely you got everything you need. 

Need some background on this? Read on!: " Black Friday is the name given to the shopping day after Thanksgiving. It was originally called Black Friday because so many people went out to shop that it caused traffic accidents and sometimes even violence. The Philadelphia Police Department coined the phrase to describe the mayhem surrounding the congestion of pedestrian and auto traffic in the downtown area.

The name was first recorded in 1966 by Earl Apfelbaum, a dealer in rare stamps.

In his ad, he said,''Black Friday' is the name that the Philadelphia Police Department gave to the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. It is not a term of endearment for them. 'Black Friday' officially opens the Christmas shopping season in the center city. It usually brings massive traffic jams and over-crowded sidewalks as the downtown stores are mobbed from opening to closing.' "

I can not wait! I hope this gave you some ideas because I got so many ideas! I may even shop on Thanksgiving just because I don't want to take any chances😂. Hope you all have an amazing and blessed fall. Byeeee!
